Superficially, Zayneb appears calm and quiet but take her to a traditional Gnawa/Essaouia concert and she will be the first up to dance herself in to a trance like state, a key part of the Moroccan Sufi tradition. A “master” baker of the variety of traditional breads and cakes available for breakfast, Zayneb, who is married with a daughter, began working with us in 2012, and also ensures that Dar Finn is kept clean and tidy, no mean feat given its’ size!
