Having first visited Fez in 1986 and following a previous career in international public health, I bought the original Dar in 2007, which then housed 13 families. The rebuild was completed four years later, with the addition of a neighbouring ruin, now the walled garden, plunge pool and external balconies.

When not at Dar Finn, Boutique Hotel, Fez, you can find me, either on mission with UNICEF in some of the worlds more precarious corners, working at our sister project Dar Finn, FermeD’Hote, Chefchaouen or hanging out with my son, Finn, after whom the house is now named.
